Ocean Side Elopement, Snells Beach.

When I photograph these beautiful love stories I always find myself emotional and probably crying behind the camera at one point or another. I invest my everything in to these moments, my heart and soul.

Each couple has a unique connection, a story, a love language, and to them and only therm it truly makes sense. When this couple reached out to me with less than a weeks notice telling me they’re eloping on the beach with only their four year old daughter I had all the heart emoji eyes! it sounded so special and intimate.

Due to countless postponements of their planned wedding, they decided it was best to follow their hearts and elope instead. With all of their family overseas it was impossible to stick with a date for a big wedding with so much uncertainty at the moment. Although I know they would have loved to have all the family and friends around to watch them exchange their love to one another I know this experience was special to them.

There was no fancy decor, no caterers, no DJ, no cake just the three of them - a beautiful family unit to share this experience together. They asked if my wife could come along and record a video on their phone and also asked if my wife and I could be witnesses - more heart emojis and crying eyes here! My amazing wife was stoked to be giving that privilege and she made such and amazing video of all the moments throughout the elopement!

I definitely cried more than once behind my camera as I watched their daughter pick bunny tails from the sand dunes for her mums bouquet, the way she observed her parents beautiful love when they exchanged vows and the curiosity she had for these moments. Tattooed guys are aloud to be emotional too ok!

I hope you enjoy.
